Day 01 – … / Lima

¡Welcome to Peru!

Upon arrival at The International Airport of Lima (Jorge Chavez) a representative of Peru 4×4 adventures / Quality Travel International will be awaiting for you, from there on transfer to the hotel. Arrival and check in (15:00 Hrs.). Short briefing about the expedition and the usage of the 4×4 units, as well as safety regulations etc.

Day 02 – Lima – Paracas – Nazca (474 kms)

Breakfast at the hotel.

At 04:30 hours departure in 4×4 truck heading for the town of Paracas. At 08:00 hours arrive at Paracas and excursion to The Ballestas Islands where you can watch The Humboldt Penguins and Sea Lions. Then, visit The Paracas National Reserve, a protected area that give protection to the various species of flora and fauna that live there. You continue the trip to Ica. You can visit The Oasis Huacachina and then transfer to Nazca. Arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Day 03 – Nazca – Abancay (Total 460 kms)

Breakfast at the hotel.

We suggest an early breakfast at the hotel in order to depart on time from Nazca to Abancay. On your journey you will visit Pampas Galeras, known as one of the principal Vicuna Reservations in South America and the largest in the world. If on time and if it is open one can visit The Local Museum on Vicuna. You will drive by Puqio and also The Yauriviru Lagoon at 4400 masl and a brief stop in Abancay town.

Arrival at Abancay city.

Day 04 – Abancay – Sacred Valley (Total 205 kms)

Breakfast at the hotel.

On route from Abancay to Cusco you will also have the opportunity to visit The Inca Tambo of Tarawasi and the famous circular carved stone of Saywite, which measures 2.5 metres high. One distinguishes in its carved formed, flora and fauna as well as topographic landscapes of the Inca Empire. Continue the journey to the Sacred Valley in Cusco.

Day 05 – Sacred Valley

Breakfast at the hotel.

Full day in the Sacred Valley of the Incas visiting the Pisaq Market and ruins and the salt beds of Maras and Moray, return to Urubamba.

Day 06 – Sacred Valley – Machu Picchu – Cusco

Breakfast at the hotel.

Transfer to the train station in Ollantaytambo. Departure to Aguas Calientes by train appreciating a diversity of natural landscapes according to the existing altitudinal levels. Arrival in Aguas Calientes and bus ride to Machu Picchu entrance. Guided visit to Machu Picchu ruins 02 hours approximately. In the evening return by bus to Aguas Calientes. Board train to Ollantaytambo, arrival and transfer to your hotel in Cusco.

Transfer to the airport to board your flight to the city of Lima. Arrival and immediate international connection.
